Seren Mawr - Unique Glamping in Brecon Beacons, Wales

Geodomeaccom.jpgSeren Mawr (Big Star in Welsh)  is a generous 8m diameter geodesic dome with a superb 5m wide window to maximise the magnificent views and light.  This is the perfect place to escape from it all for a special romantic break. It is equipped with a brass bed for a restful night’s sleep in crisp cotton bedding on a goose down topper.  A wood burning stove adds to the cosy atmosphere with a sofa to cuddle up and relax in and a dining area to enjoy the meals created in the well-equipped kitchen.  To complete the luxury there is a wooden 'luv-tub' - what better way to start or end the day with a cup of tea or a glass of chilled bubbly in a hot tub with views that will make you think you've died and gone to heaven.

Seren Bach - Unique Glamping in Brecon Beacons, Wales

Geodomeaccom (1).jpg

Tucked away in the upper corner of the field, Seren Bach (meaning Little Star in Welsh) is the new addition to Seren Mawr.  This 7m diameter geodesic dome still has a huge 5m wide window to capitalise on the stunning views and light yet has the added benefit of a viewing window in the apex through which to admire the night sky for which the Brecon Beacons has justly earned its Dark Sky Reserve status.  As tastefully and thoughtfully designed as Seren Mawr, this is another perfect hideaway for a special romantic break or for those needing a digital detox.

Shepherd's Hut -  Luxury B&B Accommodation

Argoed Shepherds Hut (41).jpg

The Shepherd’s hut was built to our specification.  We wanted to ensure that it could accommodate a full-length bed for maximum comfort (who wants to sleep crunched up unless you’re a dormouse?) as well as a wet room to incorporate a shower, basin and an upmarket self-composting loo.

The Byre - Dog friendly, luxury self catering barn accommodation

Argoed Barn (61).jpg

Encouraged by the enthusiasm of our wonderful guests we converted what was once the cowshed (or byre) into self-catering accommodation in this idyllic setting. It is perfect for one or two couples or a family of four/five, and as both bedrooms are equal in size and stature, there is no need to quibble over who gets the best one!
